Well folks….. this is it. The time that most people probably enjoy the most… End of the year holidays…. Block leaves and finishing up remainder leave days that can’t be brought forward…. And also, it’s CHRISTMAS!!!!
But more than just tidings of joy, we would also like to thank you all very much for all the support that all of you have given us… from giving us feedback to visiting our website to buying our products and even helping us to promote our goods to your friends! Without you, we would have never made this far…
We’ll be taking a much needed break from CHRISTMAS!!!! till the new year, but we’ll be back with a BANG come 2009…. Count on it… =). In the meantime, our goods are still available for purchase from the Area51 outlet @ 1-Utama.
Mention the word sissy, and most people will instantly think about that kid who’s always getting picked on by the class bully. Sad, but true. Or is it?
The thing is, the more we thought about it, the more we disagreed with this notion that sissies are those who get picked upon. In fact, we are pretty convinced that the REALsissies are those who prey on those who cannot defend themselves against such bullies…. But what could we do about it? Could we do something about this?
The answer is YES! We may not be able to stop bullying per se, but heck, we could definitely do something to speak out against these bullies…..and so, we’ve come up with something that we thought would resonate with many others…
We don’t care whether these are bullies who take advantage of the smaller kids in school, or those who beat up defenceless wives, or those who think that driving a bigger car is license to intimidate other road users…
So, for all those who are like this….
…..this is what we think about all this hogwash…..
Our suicide t-shirts are almost out of print and since we’re not planning on reprinting just yet, we thought a hang tag about it would be able to make a pretty huge statement as well…. Especially when it’s sitting on the rear window of your car!
Interested? Get these car hang-tags for yourself (and / or for someone you know) for only RM9.90 each at Area51 in 1-utama (They’d make great presents too!! *hint* *hint*).

To answer the question simply, yes, there is a Christmas design this year as well. However, this year’s design will primarily sold during the coming Teen Street camp being held at Kolej Tunku Jaafar from the 9th - 13th of December.
We are afraid that there may not be much stock left by the time that camp is over, and we didn’t want you to miss out. This is why we’re giving you, our online community of friends, the privilege of booking your t-shirt BEFORE it is sold at the camp!
This is how the front of the t-shirt will look like:
The design on the back of the t-shirt is the part that is meant to provoke some thinking of behalf of those reading it… this is what it looks like…
This is how the design will look on the t-shirt….
REMEMBER, THIS DESIGN IS NOT AVAILABLE @ AREA51! SO IF YOU LIKE THIS DESIGN, ORDER THEM ONLINE BEFORE the 9th of December 2008.
You’ve got friends.
You’ve got many friends.
You’ve got many friends who are bloggers.
You’ve got many friends who are bloggers who are either:
a) addicted to blogging b) addicted to reading blogs c) all of the above
And what makes this whole scenario complicated is that Christmas is around the corner!! You want to buy them presents that are not run of the mill, but at the same time won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
Well, let us introduce you to the first of our non-clothing line items that may interest you…
Yes, blog-aholism is an epidemic that is sweeping the youth and young adults (and some older adults) of this nation and the first step to remedy this situation that we’re in is to acknowledge the problem. So, help your friends recover by helping them recognise this disease… =).. ok ok, just teasing… don’t get offended ok?

Sometimes, it’s the simplest things that seem to cause the biggest problems, won’t you agree? For example, if you accidentally left your tap on full blast in your kitchen sink, this usually wouldn’t be a problem (unless your pipes are faulty-lah)… but if you forgot the simple task of unclogging the sink before you left, then you would have BIG problems when you come back. That wonderful dinner is just about to turn into a horrible nightmare…
And so, it seems to be the same with love. Everyone wants it, most people have it or have at least experienced it, no one wants to live without it, and yet no one can fully claim to understand it. If love is such a mainstay of our lives, how come we don’t seem to be able to fully comprehend it? In fact, you know what they say? They say that love makes you do crazy things!…
In celebration of this crazy little thing called love, a bunch of stage actors and ctresses known as the Footstool Players are presenting this play called… well.. “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.
Now, before you just eagerly go ahead and condemn this play as just another run of mill love story, you might wanna take a look at a couple of pictures from the play….
The play is actually a collection of stories that are presented in a down to earth manner, but with generous amounts of humour and a simplicity that makes it enjoyable.
Here’s a videoclip taken from their interview on NTV7:
No superstars in this cast lineup, but with the backing of KLPac, Domino’s Pizza, LiteFM, POS AD Group and Empowerment, it’s something definitely worth checking out.
The unfortunate thing is that, because it has taken me this long to post up this article about the play, there are only 4 shows left (they’re performing at KLPac):
Venue: KLPac, Pentas 2
