For many of us, we were born in a time where heroes have only existed in comic books, movies or in television series. We’ve somehow bought into this fallacy that the only people who can make a change are those who have super powers or those who a large enough group. Try to do anything outside of that, and it would be an exercise in futility.

But we are here to say that heroes are not mythical beings who do not exist in our real world. Heroes are those who are willing to stand up for what they believe in, people who will not tolerate injustice or discrimination, EVEN if they are the only ones willing to stand up for it. Even if one person would stand up when everyone else would shy away, ONE IS BETTER THAN NONE.

People like Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, William Wilberforce, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Martin Luther King Jr were all heroes who all realised that one person speaking up is better than no one saying anything.

Our latest design is based on the saying of Helen Keller, an American author, political activist and lecturer to whom this saying is attributed to:

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”

- Helen Keller

In closing, we’d like to show you a video about what true heroes are made of, because even if no one is willing to stand with you, ONE IS BETTER THAN NONE
